hi, just to let you know i watched "The Gambler" on saturday evening. fabulous film. NYC in the seventies is a jaw-dropper. remarkable acting and a nice pacey plotline too. thanks for the recommendation.
oh wow. both of those movies look superb. they are both going on my watch list!
"The Gambler" - from that clip, comes across like a Jerzy Kosinski novel, all glitz and wide lapels, and his novels are always something outside of the norm.
And "Thief" .. well, if you don't mind, i'll skip the Al Jarreau and go straight to Tangerine Dream. Playing it now :) .. Thank you so much. Great recommendations.
(As a side note: in my humble opinion, Kosmische Muzik soundtracks get no better than Popol Vuh's majestic score for Herzog's "Aguirre: Der Zornes Gottes." .. do you know it? Astonishing music. Unbelievable film.)
